Kampala, Uganda | August 6, 2025 – Uganda-based advertising agency QG Group and Kenyan digital powerhouse Belva Digital have officially launched Pivot Digital, a bold new alliance delivering performance-led marketing and digital solutions tailored to the needs of East Africa’s evolving business landscape.
Unveiled at Four Points by Sheraton Kampala, the executive innovation briefing brought together decision-makers from Uganda’s financial services, telecom, FMCG, and government sectors, all eager to explore what smarter, faster, tech-enabled marketing looks like today.
“Pivot reflects our renewed vision as QG Group – a shift from being just a creative agency to becoming a business partner that helps clients perform better in a digital-first world,” said David Galukande, Managing Director at QG Group. “This collaboration reignites our legacy by building with purpose and delivering results.”
Fred Kithinzi, Group CEO at Belva Digital, delivered the keynote, sharing innovations already in use across Africa. “We’re introducing tools like AI-powered assistants that resolve up to 60% of customer queries, frontline enablement platforms that bridge product knowledge gaps, and AI-first influencer campaign tools that bring real-time clarity and ROI.”
These tools were not just demonstrated; they were brought to life with practical use cases, showing how brands can engage more meaningfully, optimise performance, and enhance customer experience at scale.
Goretti Masadde, CEO, Uganda Institute of Banking & Financial Services (UIBFS), reminded participants that “digital isn’t the future; it’s the now.” She emphasised the value of smart tools and smarter teams in driving relevance and results.
John Ssenkeezi, Digital Supervisor at National Social Security Fund (NSSF), praised QG Group’s transformation, calling the launch “a significant step in making world-class marketing technology accessible to all businesses in Uganda.” He highlighted QG’s 30-year legacy and the importance of innovation-led partnerships.
Charity Winnie Kamusiime Asiimwe, President of Uganda Marketers Society (UMS) and Head of Marketing at dfcu Bank, shared how embracing marketing technology isn’t optional but essential for brands that want to stay connected, contextual, and competitive.
Silas Muhanuka, QG Group’s General Manager, reaffirmed this mission: “We’re here to move with the market and ahead of it; with tools that are simple, scalable, and built for the African business reality.”
