In 2025, regional media played a central role in amplifying the return of the WRC Safari Rally to East Africa. Kenya Tourism Board sought to celebrate this motorsport milestone as a shared regional moment that brought together fans, tourism, and brands across Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania. The goal was to build broad awareness, drive fan engagement, and position the rally as more than an event, an East African experience.
We launched Tugende e Kenya, a multi-country campaign delivered through radio, digital, outdoor, and influencer activations. Media partnerships with leading outlets like Capital FM Uganda, CBS Radio Buganda, Wasafi Media, and Clouds Media Group amplified reach. In Uganda, excitement built around flag-off events, ambassador buses, and large-format screens in Kampala, Jinja, and Entebbe. In Tanzania and Rwanda, localised radio, press, and influencer content brought the rally closer to fans. The campaign delivered strong visibility and united East Africans around one thrilling rally experience.
