In 2023, event storytelling took centre stage as AF Mpanga Advocates marked its 20th anniversary. After two decades of legal excellence, the firm wanted more than a formal celebration. It needed an experience that captured its heritage, honoured its people, and projected its future with authenticity. This required careful curation, thoughtful design, and a narrative strong enough to reflect its journey and ambition.
We created The Great African Story, a memoir crafted from in-depth partner interviews and shaped by our senior copywriter into a compelling narrative. The event, hosted at Sheraton Kampala Hotel, brought this story to life. Invitations arrived as messages in a bottle, décor wove pages of the memoir into the space with African-inspired textures, and a fireside chat allowed partners to reflect on their milestones. The celebration became more than an event. It was a living story of legacy, growth, and the path forward.
