What do you know about the 16 Days of Activism for Violence against Women and Girls?
These 16 days are internationally dedicated to speaking against any form of violence against women and girls. Men shouldn’t be ignored in this regard because they too play a major role when it comes to fighting the force that is ‘violence against women and girls.’ This violence can be in different forms for example emotional, social economical- not to mention but a few.
What do you think is the main cause of violence against women and girls in Uganda today?
I believe it’s mostly poverty as well as alcohol and drug abuse.
Lastly, what is one way you think we can spread awareness for Violence against Women and Girls?
As a community it would be important to engage in mass and individual sensitisation about violence against women and girls.
